This is a screen record of my editing.
Screen grabs of me editing.
Here I have been using the razor tool to create jump cuts. Using the razor tool cut parts of my clips up, which creates a fast pace.
Carrying on creating jump cuts as well as cross cuts using the razor tool. I did this edit at the best parts of the music that had certain beats that could create jump cuts to.
This is a screen shot of me using the razor tool to create jump cuts and crosscuts between the narrative and performance.
Here I am layering the same clips but different times to create a ghost effect.
I changed the opacity on these to screen shots to create this ghostly/creepy effect. The opacity makes all the layers visual. I did this by clicking on the clip and clicking on effect controls and turned the opacity down.
In this screen shot I have doubled clicked on my clip and brought up the speed and duration settings. I turned the speed down, which automatically turned down the duration. The slow motion went with dragged lyrics.
This is a screenshot of me playing with the brightness and contrast for the black and white effect I added onto the narrative. I did this by clicking on the clip and clicking effect control and the tools appeared.
This is the result of the black and white and playing with the contrast.
This is a screen shot of me stabilizing a clip that was to shaky due to handheld filming, first I had to nest the clip in order for the stabilizer to work.
This is a screenshot of me using the razor tool to cut clips in time with the music to create jump cuts. This also created crosscuts between the narrative and the performance.

This is a screen shot of me adding final footage and using the razor tool to remove parts of the clips that didn't suit and add clips that matched the narrative.
This is a screen shot of me layering clips to create the ghost effect we have throughout our music video. I used the razor tool to cut the clip and put different parts on top of each other and changed the opacity in the effect controls.

This is a screen shot of me changing the opacity from a layer down to create the ghostly effect, which added to the creepiness of the video. I did this on effect controls.
Again, I am removing the sound from the clip by unlinking the two and deleting the bottom one, so only the audio was to be heard.
This is the unlink button I used to remove the sound from the clips.
Here I am changing the speed of the clip to create a slow motion effect. I did this by changing the speed, which turned down the duration.
Here is a close up of the settings.
